I am using simple and cheap BMW INPA DIS cable (FTDI232 CHIP inside/blue cable from China around 8eur) which works on VAGs as well. when I tried to do throttle body adaptation with free ross-tech version of the vcds lite 1.2 it won't let me unless I paid them for registration 90dollars or something like that, so yes this is working VCDS 1.2 Lite version. I have checked in "about" and it's shown as a registered version and it does throttle body adaptation etc. Many thanks, it works absolutely fine and yes it is a registered VCDS Lite 1.2.
